Our 151st Church Anniversary speaker is The Rev. Dr. James Alexander Forbes, Jr. He is the Senior Minister Emeritus of the Riverside Church, an interdenominational church on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, New York City. He was the first African American minister to lead this multicultural congregation, and served it for 18 years. Reverend Forbes grew up in Raleigh, NC.

UNDEE SUNDAY DRIVE - Once again St. Matthew, we are requesting your help and expressions of love. The Undee Sunday Drive will benefits children and youth that are in foster care and are being served by Wake County Human Services Division of Child Welfare.
We will be collecting new undergarments and socks for children and teens of all ages. We are asking that you bring your donations to St. Matthew on Sunday November 4th. and Sunday November 11th.
